Everal Privacy Policy
Everal (“we”, “us”, or “the App”) is a hyperlocal shopping and delivery platform operated by Coderic Technologies. Everal helps customers discover products from nearby stores and restaurants, place orders, make payments, receive deliveries, and track orders.
1. What Everal offers
Everal may offer groceries, fruits, vegetables, food from restaurants, cosmetics, garments, stationery, and other daily essentials. Features may include product search and comparison, cart and checkout, saved delivery addresses, order history, live order tracking, wallet and rewards, offers, personalized recommendations, and support for local vendors and restaurants.
2. Information we process
- Account information: phone number used for sign-up and login, verification information such as one-time-password status, and basic profile details you provide.
- Delivery information: saved addresses, location details, delivery instructions, and contact details needed to deliver an order.
- Shopping and order information: products viewed or selected, cart contents, orders, quantities, prices, delivery status, cancellations, refunds, and support requests.
- Payment and wallet information: payment method, transaction status, wallet or cashback activity, and related records. Payment credentials such as card or UPI details may be handled directly by the selected payment provider; we do not intend to store full card credentials.
- Location information: approximate or precise device location, only when you grant Android location permission and when needed for nearby-store discovery, service availability, address assistance, delivery coordination, or tracking features.
- Device and technical information: IP address, device and app information, network status, crash or diagnostic information, and notification or security details needed to keep the App working.
- Communications: messages, feedback, support conversations, and information you provide when contacting us.
3. How we use information
- Create and secure your account and provide login verification.
- Show nearby products, stores, restaurants, prices, availability, and offers.
- Process carts, orders, payments, refunds, wallet activity, rewards, and deliveries.
- Share necessary order information with relevant vendors, restaurants, delivery personnel, and payment providers so your order can be completed.
- Send order updates, service notifications, offers, and important account messages when enabled.
- Provide customer support, prevent fraud or misuse, troubleshoot problems, and improve the App.
- Meet legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
4. Android permissions
- Internet: to load products and services, communicate with Everal systems, process orders, and support payments and delivery.
- Network status: to determine whether a network connection is available.
- Location: to support nearby services, delivery address assistance, and location-based delivery features when you allow it. You can deny or later disable this permission in Android settings, but some location-based features may not work.
- Notifications: to provide order, delivery, account, and service updates when you allow notifications.
- Vibration: to provide notification feedback.
- Wake lock and boot/background support: to help scheduled notifications and requested background delivery or order updates work reliably.
Everal does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, SMS messages, phone calls, or call history.
5. Sharing of information
We share information only when reasonably necessary to provide the service or comply with law. This may include:
- Local stores, restaurants, vendors, and delivery partners involved in fulfilling your order.
- Payment processors and financial service providers for checkout, refunds, wallet, and transaction verification.
- Cloud hosting, analytics, customer-support, security, notification, and technical service providers acting on our instructions.
- Authorities, advisers, or other parties when required by law or needed to protect users, the public, our rights, or the service.
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information or share it for another company’s independent direct-marketing purposes.
6. Payments and third-party services
Everal supports payment methods such as UPI, cards, net banking, wallets, and cash on delivery where available. Payment providers may collect and process payment information under their own privacy policies. Everal may also use third-party infrastructure, maps or location services, messaging/notification services, and analytics or security tools. Their handling of information is governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
7. Storage, security, and retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information. No electronic transmission or storage system is completely secure. We keep information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain order and accounting records, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, meet legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by the type of information.
8. Your choices and rights
- You may update account details and saved addresses in the App where those controls are available.
- You may deny or disable location and notification permissions through Android settings.
- You may request access, correction, deletion, or clarification about personal information we hold, subject to legal and operational limits.
- You may request account closure by contacting us. Some information may need to be retained for legal, fraud-prevention, payment, or order-record purposes.
9. Children’s privacy
Everal is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.
10. International processing
Depending on the service providers we use, information may be processed in locations outside your state or country. We take reasonable steps required by applicable law to protect information during such processing.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when Everal’s features, partners, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted at this location with a revised effective date.
